Applications for “Field Officer (NOREC Participant)” are being invited for the project of “Empowering Persons with Disabilities through Mutual Learning” will be implemented by Nepal Disabled Human Rights Center (DHRC-Nepal), a non-governmental organization in collaboration with Norwegian Agency for Exchange Cooperation (NOREC) and in partnership with PROCHESTA Bangladesh.

1) Must have graduated from a reputed university.

2) Excellent speaking, writing, and reporting skill in English

3) Must have computer operating skill (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet, and Email)

Duration: 1 September 2023 to 30 November 2024

Employment Status: 14 months (Full-time)

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee all project activities.

  2. Ensure project activities comply with the policies and regulations of the donor organization.

  3. Responsible for overseeing the development and execution of project deliverables, lead project planning, budgeting, action plans and monitoring processes.

  1. Responsible for developing the training module.

  2. Responsible for capacitating the staff of the host organization.

  3. Responsible for submitting activity reports, meeting minutes and financial invoices to the finance team.

  4. Employs resourcefulness in project design, implementation, and monitoring. Troubleshoots project problems. Identifies and implements creative solutions.

  5. Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and of the required level of quality.

  6. Regular field visit need in the project area to monitor project activities, share findings & take positive action

Additional Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in journalism/Education or the equivalent.

  2. At least 2 years of work experience in development cooperation with diversity team. Able to facilitate training and workshop.

  3. Able to work with multi-cultural and diverse team Strong communication skill.

  4. Strong written and spoken in English and Nepali language, knowledge of Bengali language is additional asset.

  5. Computer skills with experience in word processing, Excel sheet, Good interpersonal and communication, network skills

  6. Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail, and to meet deadlines. Excellent time management, problem-prevention, and problem-solving skills. Ability to keep sensitive information confidential.

  7. Knowledge in managed outgoing and incoming mail/letter

  8. Able to communicate, correspondence with international counterpart.

Terms:
